The Titanic, the biggest ship of it’s time.  It was said to be unsinkable, but on the night of April 14th 1912, it hit an iceberg and caused 1,700 deaths.  It was Bruce Ismay’s fault for the disaster of the Titanic because he wanted to use cheap materials, he rushed to finish it and he was un prepared for a crash.

First, it was Bruce Ismay’s fault because he used very cheap material.  He used cheap materials so he can save money.  If he would’ve used better materials the Titanic could’ve not crashed.

Another reason it was Bruce Ismay’s fault is because he rushed to finish it.  He  rushed to finish the Titanic so they could leave at a certain time.  If he would’ve took his time it would’ve been more durable.

The final reason it was Bruce Ismay’s fault is because he did not prepare the Titanic for a crash.  If he would’ve had enough lifeboats and more binoculars it could’ve saved everyone and no one could have died.

Some people think that it was Thomas Andrews ‘ fault because he was the builder of the ship.  However, Bruce Ismay could’ve gave Thomas Andrews better materials.  Others may also say that Thomas Andrews should’ve asked Bruce Ismay for better materials.  Yet again,  they are wrong because Bruce Ismay should’ve known that better materials is better, and because he had the final say.

In conclusion,  Bruce Ismay is to blame for the Titanic disaster because he used cheap materials, rushed to finish and did not prepare for a crash .  if Bruce Ismay bought good materials the Titanic might have not sunk it could’ve just had a couple scratches .  Lawmakers need to ensure that in the future, cruise ships should use good and sturdy materials that are reliable.  Also, they need to have enough lifeboats to hold everyone on the ship.
